Each map in Minecraft renders a 128×128 pixel image. For the best results, use images with dimensions that are multiples of 128 (e.g., 128×128, 256×256, 384×384, 512×512). Rectangles work too! Images like 128×512 or 256×384 will map perfectly to the grid.
If your image doesn't match these dimensions, it will be scaled to fit within the map grid while maintaining aspect ratio, with transparent padding added as needed.
